Which parks does the guide cover?
Start with 24 state parks across Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin—six in each state. Browse by landscape or activity, compare two parks, and save a shortlist on your browser.
What will a park guide help you decide?
Each guide explains the main landscape, who the visit may suit, a simple day plan, overnight options and an important detail to check before leaving. Follow the official park links for maps, current notices, services and booking.
Where do the facts come from?
Park facts come from the state agencies and supporting official pages linked in each guide. Source-review dates describe when those pages were checked. They do not establish current trail, water or facility conditions. We have not inspected the routes in person or obtained an independent parks-expert review.
Are the park pictures real?
The park photographs come from sources that identify the park or a named feature. Archive images and location limits are labeled. The photo credits record the photographers, original sources and licenses. The illustrated homepage landscape is brand artwork, not a photograph or a map.
Who runs the guide?
State Park Scout is an independent publication, not a state agency or booking service. This edition has no advertising, affiliate links or tracking. Reservations are handled by the official services linked from the guides.
