State-park activity guide

Find state parks for cycling

A park can offer cycling without allowing bicycles on every path. Choose the permitted route, surface and access before planning a combined ride and walk.

Separate the networks

Brown County lists mountain biking; Peninsula has bike-trail information. Those labels describe different decisions. Use each official trail map rather than assuming that all recreational routes are shared.

Pick a meeting point

For a group with walkers and riders, agree where the activities begin and end. Confirm the route each person is using instead of expecting a bike trail to connect to a walking attraction.

Check the day’s access

Trail work, conditions and seasonal arrangements can change the plan. Confirm equipment rentals separately if needed. Our guide does not report open/closed trail status in real time.
